About Me

My photo

Knitting cancer in the bud is a journal for cancer patients and survivors to express feelings. I knit and crochet caps for men and women who lost their hair to treatments. Patients immune systems are low. The caps help keep patients heads warm in cold hospitals. I had leukemia 20 years ago. I lost my hair from chemo. I asked the Lord to heal me and he did. If you knit or crochet, please donate your skill time to our men, women, and children cancer fighters who need a smile. This site is new. I will be posting updates and photos of patients wearing their caps as they become available. I encourage all cancer patients, men too, to knit or crochet because you'll feel peaceful, less stressed, and calm. The healing starts in your mind. Knitting and crochet will help you to relax and focus on feeling better. You are exercising your brain keeping it active, healthy, and free of deression. I encourage all to learn knitting and crochet on YouTube, if you don't already know. Most importantly, get CONNECTED with God. He's your healer and mine. Ask Him to heal you in the name of Jesus. Stay prayerful, focused, and ready. Let's fight to WIN and move on with our lives as we obey the will of God.
